South Surrey includes miles of Pacific oceanfront at Crescent Beach, and also near the U.S. border close to Blaine Washington. On the ocean, White Rock BC is a seaside community centered between South Surrey's waterfront. The waterfront real estate and homes here have magnificent views to the San Juan Islands.
Surrey golf courses included in South Surrey are Hazelmere Golf Course and Morgan Creek Golf Course.
South Surrey neighbourhoods include Hazelmere, Crescent Beach, and many distinct pockets within the city. The Semiahmoo Shopping Centre is this part of the city's main mall. Parks in South Surrey include Bakerview Park on 18th Avenue, Alderwood Paark on Lilac Drive, greenspaces on Southmere Crescent across from Semiahmoo Shopping Centre, Crescent Beach oceanfront public beach, and the incredible Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest.
The main traffic routes through South Surrey are Highway 99 coming from Vancouver and Delta BC close to Crescent Beach neighbourhood, and the King George Highway (Highway 99A) which travels from North Surrey and Whalley.
